Was so good to reconnect over the to meet and know Sandy and both boys. Miss his laughter, which was everywhere!

I  knew Eddie the boy very well, I wish in hind siight I would have taken the opportunities I had to know the Man better. I planted a tree last year at Sunrise (Jr High, where Ed I became friends), I have a memorial plaque I will place once it takes root. A toast to friends taken too soon.

Eddie was a good friend.  Will miss him.  We got into plenty of mischief in junior high.  His locker was close to mine.  We spent time playing guitar together and dreaming of being one of the Beatles in our younger years.  Had a good time swimming, boating, chasing girls, making music, and being energetic young guys.  What a great time and place to grow up.  Or at least try to "grow up".  I told my son once that he shouldn't try go get away with anything because I and my old friends had been there and done it and I would know.  Eddie and I did a lot of things together and were quite creative in our adventures. Eddie lives on in our memories.

Eddie was in the band for a while before he took off with "Up With People".  He always sang a song with his whole just couldn't slow down the energy.  His best was when he "BECAME" Gerry Marsden of Gerry and the Pacemakers...His 'Ferry 'Cross the Mersey' was the best version I ever heard.  Music was his life in those days, and it was an inspiration being around that kind of dedication.  I miss the rarity of that pure joy.

Played ball both with and against Eddie.  Good friend.  Worked with his Dad and brother a few years after high school.  He was a good guy.
