Had a lot of fun playing hockey with Bob.  We were the 1st line on the JV.  Remember when he came to school in our Junior year.  Really decent individual.  Have thought of him often.

Bob was a great guy and friend but more like a brother to me.  I always teased him like the "big brother" I always wanted because he was a couple months older then me😊  His parents and my parents were best friends as we were growing up.   My Mom was in his parents wedding. We would travel to East Grand Forks to visit their family and they would come to WBL to visit our family.  Bob lived with my family in high school.  We would go riding on his motorcycle and he taught me how to scuba dive.  He always wanted to be a pilot and worked hard and stay focused to accomplish his goals.  He was a great friend, not that we saw each other often, that is missed lots.  RIP❤️

Bob and I both pursured aviation careers.  He was a step ahead of me and ended up being my Flight Instructor for my Instrument rating.  He was a professional pilot to the pont of perfection.  I always felt confiedent with him.  I remember a flight with him from Rochester to St Paul. We were in a Cherokee 140, in thunderstorms, bouncing all over the alttiudes, lighting around us and he was a cool as cucumber and I was white knockles. I am happy he made into the big leagues of the airlines.  My aviation career ended up in air traffic control and unmanned air vehicles.
